Terms and Conditions

1. Agreement to Terms

By engaging VietLogix for freight forwarding, warehousing, distribution, or broader supply chain solutions within or connecting to Vietnam, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not accept these terms in their entirety, you must abstain from using our logistics network and associated platforms.

2. Scope of Services

VietLogix operates as an intermediary logistics provider and freight forwarder headquartered in Ho Chi Minh City. Our core operations involve coordinating transportation via sea, air, and land networks. We actively contract with independent vessel operators, airlines, trucking companies, customs brokers, and third-party storage facilities to execute these services on your behalf.

• All transit timelines and delivery schedules provided are operational estimates and do not constitute legally binding guarantees, unless explicitly defined in a separate, written Service Level Agreement (SLA).
• We maintain the exclusive right to alter routes, consolidate freight, and adjust handling methods based on environmental conditions, port congestion, and professional discretion to ensure cargo safety.

3. Quotations and Financial Obligations

Logistics quotations are valid exclusively for the duration specified on the initial document. Due to the dynamic nature of global trade, rates remain subject to immediate revision based on fluctuating fuel surcharges, sudden shifts in international exchange rates, or unexpected capacity constraints.

The Client assumes full responsibility for all incurred costs, including base freight charges, applicable Vietnamese customs duties, terminal handling charges at Ho Chi Minh City or alternative ports, and any unforeseen demurrage or detention penalties arising from documentation delays.

4. Prohibited and Regulated Cargo

VietLogix strictly prohibits the tender of goods that violate the laws of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam or international transport regulations. Clients must accurately declare the nature, weight, and volume of all shipments.

• Prohibited items include, but are not limited to, unauthorized firearms, illegal narcotics, counterfeit merchandise, and undeclared hazardous materials.
• If prohibited goods are discovered in transit, VietLogix reserves the right to halt transport, notify local authorities, and abandon or destroy the cargo at the Client's complete legal and financial expense.

5. Limitation of Liability

While we prioritize the physical security of your supply chain, VietLogix's liability for loss, physical damage, or critical delay is strictly limited in accordance with standard international freight forwarding practices and applicable Vietnamese maritime and transport law.

We strongly advise all clients to procure comprehensive, all-risk marine or cargo insurance prior to shipment. VietLogix can facilitate the purchase of such insurance policies upon explicit written request.

6. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions shall be exclusively governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam. Any disputes, controversies, or claims arising out of or relating to these terms, or the breach thereof, shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent commercial courts located in Ho Chi Minh City.
